Surendra Rajput is a name known to everyone from masses to classes since 33 years. He is active in politics and social activities since 1970. In these 33 years, he has done numerous social activities effectively to help poor people, economically and socially backward class people and most effectively he has worked for the laborers of state and has set an example to others of an ideal Politician and social worker. Surendra Rajput had a special place in the heart of the Visionary Prime Minister of India Late Shree Rajeev Gandhi. Shree Rajeevji was taking his suggestions for many issues related to youth congress and other issues related to common men.

This man himself is an institution. Thousands of committed workers for his party and society are being prepared by him and they are not just limited to any one part of particular area but are spreded to nooks and corner of all Gujarat. He has picked up many talented people from all the corners of the society, from villages, cities and trained them and many of them are on the top positions today. He had started his political career while he was in school and first became General Secretary of Shree Rakhial High School, Ahmedabad, then in 1974-75 he became G.S. of Shree S. V. Arts College, Ahmedabad and in 1975-76 he again became a G.S. of Motilal Nehru Law College, Ahmedabad.
